June 22, 2026 – Kasetsart University Sriracha Campus, in collaboration with Mahidol University, has officially and successfully concluded the "Sawasdee Thailand 2026" program. In this final stretch, the KU Sriracha student organizer team led participants to experience a comprehensive journey covering industry, logistics, local community lifestyles, and environmental conservation.

Final Day of the Program (June 22): Exploring the World of Logistics and Kon Ao Community Lifestyle
For today's activities, the participants went on a field trip to Hutchison Ports Thailand at Laem Chabang Port to learn about world-class terminal management and cargo transportation systems. Following this, they traveled to the Kon Ao Community to experience the traditional lifestyle of local fishermen up close and participated in a "Tie-dye" workshop, learning a craft that beautifully reflects local wisdom and community identity.

Looking Back at Memorable Moments (June 20): Conserving Koh Sichang's Marine Life and Enhancing Auspiciousness
Additionally, last Saturday, the participants went on an eco-cultural excursion to Koh Sichang District. Key activity highlights included:

Marine Resource Conservation: Visiting the Koh Sichang Marine Learning Center and participating in soft coral planting, where participants wrote their names on the planting bases as a fond memory. They also joined in releasing blue swimming crabs back into nature to help restore the marine ecosystem.

Local Cultural Learning: Traveling to pay respects at the Chao Pho Khao Yai Shrine, a sacred site of Koh Sichang, for good fortune and to learn about the spiritual beliefs deeply tied to the villagers' way of life.

The "Sawasdee Thailand 2026" program has been highly successful in fostering an atmosphere of internationalization and developing global citizenship skills. Under the excellent management of the Kasetsart University Sriracha Campus student team, the program provided invaluable experiences, created lasting impressions, and wove strong, sustainable friendships among students and staff from diverse institutions.
