On 27 February 2023, University Administrators of Kasetsart University had a Board Meeting on “Preparation of a Master Plan for Area Development Projects for the Establishment of a Sustainable Agricultural Innovation Center, Eastern Region” at Meeting Room 8, Kasetsart Golden Jubilee Administrative and Information Center Building, Kasetsart University Bangkhen led by Vice President for Administration and a Board Advisor, Dr. Damrong Sripraram and Vice President for Sriracha Campus and a Chairman of the Board, Asst. Prof. Dr. Seri Koonjaenak. The meeting aimed to find out the guidelines for developing the Bo Thong area to be a center of Smart Farm prototype in the eastern region to transfer knowledge to interested parties and farmers.
The Bo Thong area is in Bo Thong District, Chonburi Province. It is an area that Kasetsart University has received permission from the Royal Forest Department, Thailand to use for creating and passing on knowledge and innovations in modern agriculture to entrepreneurs and farmers in the area.
